Am I to assume it wasn't decentered ?

 

The centering was "Ok"


Please test the FE90M!

 

Either mid Feb or, more likely early March


It's not on the homepage?

Fuji claims the lens is optimized for distances from 1...3 m, not for max. resolution at infinity. So in that distance the performance is even stronger.

I was able to buy new 90/2 for ~600 USD in January. The lens is good but nuts in bokeh on closed apertures are shortcoming for me especially after 135/2 DC that I had on Nikon before. From other side 90/2 is much-much sharper than old Nikkor.

   It's "not" on the "lens review page" neither under Nikon FF nor APSc, I  meant to say "Lens Reviews"!

 

 

 

 If I was new here I would look there first!

No, it already was there yesterday. And the year before  :P the date of the test is Thursday, 18 September 2014 13:16

The date of the test is of little consequence.....................

 

             "It wasn't on the lens review list".......................it "was" in the announced new test under Nikon forum threads however.....

 

 I've referenced the review a couple of times.......as soon as my post was spotted,  Klaus/Marcus sneaked it in before you checked....you were probably fiddling with you Fuji.. :rolleyes:

 

              not that it is a significant issue.................but it's there now..........

 

 ............you'll have to excuse me JoJu....I have Franz Kafka on the line..........
