I recently tested new Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f2.8E FL ED VR lens. It si best Nikon 70-200 f2.8 I ever tested. Only vignetting at 200mm and f2.8 could be beter.

Here is review of the lens:

Nice review, Bojan.

I think that everyone actually still shooting Nikon has "left the building".

Even me. Well, not shooting the D800 as I just bought the V3.

 I nearly missed this one!

X....New topics are confined to the latest five with a huge vacant empty space underneath, this requires the reader to "search" around in the categories to find something which maybe only be a coupe of days old, more than many will be bothered to do (apart the faithful few).

Surely these topics could still be visible for longer! ...X

Yeah, good review indeed, including references to the ever controversial "focus breathing", nice to see it's way better.

Some good test shots too showing for the most part faultless rendering and smooth bokeh, one however, with the foreground grasses, has a strange effect in the elliptical bokeh balls.......is that an effect of the fresnel lens I wonder?

Looks like this is your baby if you want an almost perfect 70-200mm in the Nikon mount and you damn the not inconsiderable expense!
