The MTF looks nice but will it have decent bokeh and be apo ? I guess we will find out sooner or later.

Canon M100 seems unnoticed here, but it's clear it's made to seriously compete with MFT, I expect it to sell like hot cakes

Sure, just because hot cakes also come without an EVF and who's trying to find anything else than his own face in front of a selfie-cam?

In which way it is made to seriously compete with MFT??? It lacks a 4x3 format smaller sensor. Olympus and Panasonic make w whole range of cameras, of course this new entry level Canon M camera does not compete with the format or the whole range.

In reality, it is made to follow up the M10, giving it the same sensor as the M6 and M5, and a bit more speed. It is a simple, cheap model to compete with simple cheap models from Sony (A3000, A5100), Fuji (X-A and X-E series).
