Indeed quite large (fat), and especially heavy, for a 70-200mm f2.8. And pretty expensive... Oh, and hmmm.. Heavy on the focus breathing at 1.2m MFD and 0.13x max. magnification (there will be a noticable wider FOV at MFD, worse than the Nikkor AF-S 70-200mm f2.8 VR II which does 0.12x max. magnification at 1.4m MFD).

They look pretty fat!  

 

I'm not too up-to-date on that category so I'm not clear if it's fat just in relation to the compact Pentax APS-C body or fat for the category.
