well, out of focus areas have no micro-contrast so they are "soft".

And even a 10.5mm doesn't have a broad DOF at f/0.95 so I can' really tell what is 100% in focus in the "hall" scene.


The lamps show massive PF though.

Ah yes, heavy PF indeed around those lights, and very heavy LoCA. I wonder if the 50mm f1.2 L is as bad, PF wise ( http://www.opticallimits.com/canon-eos/158-canon-ef-50mm-f12-usm-l-test-report--review?start=1 ).
