Ah gear lust.
Having returned to full frame via the A7 series (and happily having not been able to bring myself to sell my favourite Canon glass - the 17 TSE and 135f2, which are reborn on the A7r) after a couple of years with MFT, I now find myself thinking " maybe I shouldn't sell off the MFT gear - or at least the best of the glass - it would be nice to have something tiny. And now this lens which would mate wonderfully with the GM2 for hiking.
But really, it's smaller than the A7r and 35mm sonnar, but DO I NEED IT. No. Maybe. No. Maybe....

No. Just like the case of the 42.5mm f1.2.
Personally I doubdt how useful the aperture ring is. A distance/dof scale will be much more useful.

Yes, nice and small. But only 30mm f3.4 FF equivalent of course, so not THAT shallow a DOF possible. But not all street photographers use shallow DOF (at times), so not a problem for those.

Yes. But that is a problem of the system, not of the lens.
