Anyone care to speculate what that means? If not a conventional DSLR, how about a (possibly) fixed mirror configuration, but with the mirrored image going to OVF. Possibly another semi-transparrent mirror to allow information overlay like the X100 & friends. Main sensor could do on-sensor phase AF as well as contrast. Then the mirror needs be rised up in the EVF mode. If so, then I think it's a brilliant idea, but I hope the CDAF will be much faster then that of a typical dslr (or there may even be PDAF sensors on the sensor).
