Panasonic GX7 official - sort-of ... - Klaus - 07-25-2013 http://www.43rumors.com/ft5-first-image-of-the-new-panasonic-gx7/ Makes me wonder how it is positioned towards the GH3. That said, I always appreciate something smaller. :-) Unlike the rumor site, I think it stays at 16mp - the GH3 has also a 18mp sensor with 16mp exposed only. Panasonic GX7 official - sort-of ... - frank - 07-26-2013 From the rumored specs it seems the only selling point of this camera is a tiltable EVF. However, I have a feeling that this camera comes too late... Else it looks really good, apparently a new EVF design with a higher resolution than the Sony NEX series, expensive though. However, I have a feeling that this camera comes too late... It is the first rangefinder-esque mft cam with an EVF and a direct competitor to the X-E1 and NEX 6/7. Don't know whether it's too late, but it was certainly needed. I still prefer the looks of the Fuji though Panasonic GX7 official - sort-of ... - Guest - 07-26-2013 43 rumours now have a rumoured review that state the sensor is better than the em-5/gh3. Panasonic GX7 official - sort-of ... - Sylvain - 07-29-2013 What I find most interesting in this rumors is the in body stabilization. Seems like a weird move for Panasonic. Clever marketing could do with "autodetect if lenses has IS etc.. not so hard to make it pass. Panasonic GX7 official - sort-of ... - thxbb12 - 07-29-2013 I wish Oly would come up with a similar body as it addresses my main issues with the OM-D:

Anyhow, here are some more pics of this little beauty. http://www.43rumors.com/ft5-new-images-and-specs-of-the-panasonic-gx7/ Panasonic GX7 official - sort-of ... - thxbb12 - 07-31-2013 Quote:I would be surprised if it does... Anyhow, here are some more pics of this little beauty. For the most part it seems to tick most boxes. However, the big question remains the sensor. Will it be a Sony one or a new Panasonic design? If past sensors are an indication, I hope for the former (especially when it comes to DR). |
