next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - Sibbi - 02-08-2013 The Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro may not be the best macro lens that we've ever tested but it is certainly an impressive one. http://www.opticallimits.com/m43/781-oly6028 Special thanks to Sylvain Goffin for providing this lens! Seb next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - Brightcolours - 02-08-2013 Pure yellow to show/determine LoCA is maybe not ideal... Especially since some lenses have blue/yellow LoCA! Better to just use black print on white... I do detect a different colour behind focus than in front of focus, but impossible to judge with this yellow. Big lens, looks like IF is a drawback concerning mirrorless and compactness, where macro lenses are concerned. High CA for a macro lens, but looks like the background bokeh is nice and smooth (foreground bokeh not so much, unsurprisingly of course). next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - Klaus - 02-09-2013
Pure yellow to show/determine LoCA is maybe not ideal... However, yes, the target is not ideal. next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - soLong - 02-09-2013 a smoothie + a nice portrait lens at 185g .... not sure about the tooth brush though next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - arvydas - 02-09-2013
not sure about the tooth brush though
f16... just right to avoid some scary views of used toothbrush <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />/> ... next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - Brightcolours - 02-09-2013
I have never seen yellow bokeh fringing. The normal CA test and the LoCA test show that here not the green is out of step, making for green/magenta, but the blue is, making for blue, yellow... http://www.opticallimits.com/nikon_ff/755-tokina3004fx?start=1 <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - Guest - 02-09-2013 Would have expected that this lens is a better performer than measured here. The 25mm Pana reaches this level of center resolution already at f/1.4. Anyhow, in use I´m pretty happy with the results even at f/2.8. Let´s see how it compares to the upcoming 60mm f/2.8 Sigma. next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - Sibbi - 02-09-2013
f16... just right to avoid some scary views of used toothbrush <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />/>/> ... Also was this sample decentered or is this the norm ? I mean the resolution numbers are lower than the 12-35 zoom and it is a more favorable focal length (easier to make tele than wide angle). next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 60mm f/2.8 ED macro - Sibbi - 02-09-2013
Also was this sample decentered or is this the norm ?
