I agree that the 17mm shots look a bit fishy on the left side. -- Markus Preview: Tokina AT-X 17-35mm f/4 Pro FX - mst - 08-12-2012
yes lovely pictures and scenery - i like the threshing monster - and so nice for someone to have put a seat under the tree to admire the view, what a good idea - ta
Thanks. That monster was a little scary, since I was a lot close to the (working) scissors on the left than the image suggests <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> All images were shot this evening around my home village. -- Markus Preview: Tokina AT-X 17-35mm f/4 Pro FX - arvydas - 08-13-2012
Thanks. A. Preview: Tokina AT-X 17-35mm f/4 Pro FX - PuxaVida - 08-13-2012 Wow, I guess this will be the first serious review of this lens on Nikon. Thanks for the samples Markus, I'm looking forward to read the review... OTOH, I already ordered the Nikon 16-35mm instead of this one (because of my concerns about the Tokina QC). I somehow felt a relief because the long search for a UWA zoom was ended finally... BUT, today the friend I ordered the lens travelling in NY called me telling that 16-35mm is out of stock (both B&H and Adorama), and that the dealer offered him this Tokina instead of the Nikon <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />... I told him to skip Tokina because the test samples compared here was like go-for-the-Nikon... I think I'm somehow cursed when it comes to the UWAs. Serkan Preview: Tokina AT-X 17-35mm f/4 Pro FX - Steinar1 - 08-19-2012 Hello Serkan, this lens is in stock at this internet store in Holland.
