It continues to impress. Personally, I can't stand the flare, but apart from this issue, it's still an outstanding lens.

This lens simply slays. No wonder a few of the local pros I know are switching from Canon to Nikon and getting this. Apparently the local AFP guy is the latest victim. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I guess the most demand of this lens is to replace the Nikor af-d 14mm f2.8 on FX. Isn't it?

I don't think so. There are certainly a lot more AF-S 14-24 owners than there have ever been AF-D 14 owners.

AF 14 D has no reason to exist anymore. Not that much cheaper than the 14-24 and even back in the old D200 test it wasn't that hot I think. Having the aperture ring is its only real advantage. Still, it seems like a current lens, so is there going to be a review?
