As we all knew, it's a great lens.

The review would have also benefited from comment on how the lens compares to the TS-E 17, in terms of subject isolation, yes?

Why should we compare a 17mm vs 24mm lens in this respect ? Apples 'n Oranges - at least from my perspective.

I think the figure legend for the tilt images should read horizontal and vertical tilt, not shift... right?

Now, just make me a wide angle for APS-C that tilts and shifts! 35mm isn't wide enough <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

They did <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

TS-E 17mm f4 L

17mm x 1.6 (Canon mount, so Canon APS-C crop factor) = 27.2mm <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Not made for APS-C, which is neat though, because it then can perform a double roll (27mm on APS-C and 17mm on FF 135 format).
