The 12-100mm PRO has an image stabilizer ? 6.5 f-stops ? I suppose that's in combination with in-body IS. A fairly big thing but in theory that's a good start.

Minimum focusing distance: 0.15m (wide angle), 0.45m (telephoto)

That is very unusual...

And someone does not totally understand what max. magnification means (with the 30mm)

I guess oly spent the time developing IS for the 300 and now they will use it in new lenses.

Pretty unexpected if you ask me. It looks like the manufacturers have all decided to use everything they can: Sony went from IBIS to lens IS then to IBIS again (leaving the lens IS in use), Panasonic went from lens IS to IBIS, and now Olympus adds lens IS too.

As of today: Scratch "Ca" from that :-)

"Digital IS with 5-axis image stabilization* when shooting movies plus increased image stabilization with both lens optical IS and in-camera digital IS when shooting with an IS lens."

Wonder how they do 5-axis without moving the sensor.

It is a matter of sensing the movement and analyzing where the image then should end up in, adjusting the crop?

ELECTRONIC IS ... this has nothing to do with sensor IS.

Available in movie mode only. They simply shift a smaller frame within the full frame. A well known approach in camcorders ... but not the real thing.
