Graduale? I guess gradual? A gradual ND (GND) filter is a filer that goes from dark to light. They are used to make bright skies darker while keeping the rest light, for instance.

I meant variable filters sorry

if I put 2 circular polarizers willI have a variable ND filter ?

As explained above that you need at least one linear pol. filter.
