Panasonic 45-175?
#1
Are you planning to test this lens? Looks very interesting considering the focal length range, size/weight and price.

The test itself is basically done. Sebbi has yet to write the article.

Cool, thanks for the quick reply! Can't wait to see whether it turned out better than 45-200..

I am also interested in this lens and look forward to a review

Hello, new around here and with a 45-175mm on B&H's shopping cart. I would like to hit Confirm purchase after looking at your test, since you are the primary source of decision making for all my lens purchases.

Any chance on having it soon?

If you can have it ready soon, can you just please, based on your tests, help me out to decide if I should get the 45-200mm instead? I'm looking into build quality, size and optical performance. The power zoom feature is a welcome addition when shooting video, but not a deal breaker. I've heard about the double image issue, but it looks that Panasonic is taking care of it via firmware updates.

So I appreciate any help.

Many thanks in advance

A review of the M.Zuiko 40-150 (the "R" version and/or the older one) would also be interesting.

You can almost hold your breath ... if you can stand it for a couple of hours. [Image: rolleyes.gif]

The PZ 14-42 X will be next (after the 45-175). Then the 12-50.
