But the resolution is very good "near infinity focus". Very interesting again would be the performance at 1:5-1:1.

Looks like an excellent lens, and reportedly compatible with aps-h to boot. I was thinking about one. Thanks for the review!

It is said that its focus performance is poor (slow and lack of accuracy, can be seen from lenstip's review).And in your review it shows issues of underexposure, I wonder how serious it is. The Nikon edition seems better than Canon one,is it? I tried this lens today during a local photo fair on 1D Mark II N, and was very impressed. It's very sharp in the center - almost too sharp according to the unwilling model <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
 ' /> Despite being nominally APS-C it works on APS-H without excess vignetting. AF is very quiet but hunts sometimes due to lack of focus limiter. FTM is a great feature.
