Thanks to you all, guys... Joachim, Markus and Sammy... very valuable inputs... This was one of the most effective/informative discussion I attended... And interestingly it was not about a photographic gear <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

It will be a Mac... And depending on the usage of new Ivy CPU on the Apple devices, I will decide. Incase I can sell my existing IPS panel for a good price, most probably it will be an iMac (with reservations for what Markus complained about the panel). I hope that the new Macs will be equipped with the USB-3 also. But after seeing the benchmarks on their official site showing Thunderbolt winning against the USB-3, I seriously doubt that.
Most probably I will use the Windows 7 on it in addition to 10.7 Lion. I will try the VM alternative. Regarding the color management and back-up alternatives I will do more research and most probably decide after I get the Mac.
Thanks again...
