I didn't dare to jump in with suggestions I can relate to because you seemed to have your mind pretty much set on resolution and absolute 24mm quality above anything else. But Brightcolours comment on print size (remember dpi's, viewing distance, etc...) and what you just described makes me think you could give a mirrorless system a try for a year while you wait for sony's comeback in FF land (if ever?) at a fraction of the cost/bulk? A GH2/E-M5 & a m.zuiko 12mm f/2 would cost you around 1300€-1600€, would be small, would give you sufficiently large prints (maxing out at something like 24.60" x 16.32" ~ A2 at 200dpi, 36 inches viewing distance) have EVF and would do super high quality video with the proper hack if you go for the GH2. Or a NEX7 with a careful selection of lenses ;-)?
I was starting to be pretty invested in DSLR and dropped everything months after I got my E-P1, first and very imperfect camera of a genre.
But money might not be an issue if you're looking at full frame cameras with 3 zeiss lenses...so...

Mirror less is still evolving, and its not a final, sorted out product. Different manufacturers have nailed different things, but none has perfected the optimum design. Every camera/system has at least one fly in the ointment.
