Well, we'll try to find a place in Chatswood or so. After all my girl friend will apply for a job as well and I understand that the telecom companies tend to be in North Sydney (Melbourne would be better for this I reckon). Chatswood could be the compromise then.

Well, Germany is stable at the moment but just as Australia it is heavily dependent on exports. Whether cars are any better than copper is highly debatable. Resource are getting more scarce all the time whereas there's an ever increasing abundance of cars ... I would rather bet on Australia during an economic downturn.

The best thing for "us" (me and my girl friend) would be if German left the EUR. The German mark would explode thereafter. But I don't hope that for the sake of Europe ... and for Germany.
