Another reviewer noted that the lens performs badly in the corners at infinity but was otherwise fairly sharp. It'll be interesting to see what shows up with the MTF and how it compares to your image. Not clear to me if your tests are effectively at infinity or more middle range. Unfortunately i'm not sure if they meant literally infinity or 'far'.
