I think the rumours have converged towards a m43 product and that leaked image & first "specs" seem to show a body which proportions are more or less E-PX like -that is, unlikely to balance well with legacy lenses. An indication might be the new m43 12-50mm lens being a new weather sealed companion to a new weather sealed body.
I'm afraid Olympus has unplugged from 43 products despite their official talk and the latest scandal might give them a very good excuse to make such an announcement soon.
As for "basically a gx1 with evf", I think it's neglecting quite a few things : for instance tilt screen & IB-IS. But well, rumoured specs I concede :-).
I'm curious to see how far they'll go with their video specs. The new kit lens having a motorized zoom, is this camera going to venture in GHx territory, even only slightly?
