Guys, these Sigma lenses have been tested and commented up and down by virtually every photo magazine and test site there is on the net. For those of you who read French I can recommend "les numeriques", les "pixelistes", "Nikon Passion", "le monde de la photo", "Chasseur d'Images" , etc., etc.! The results are mostly the same all over; as for the 24-70 F2.8 there is a consensus that the Nikon issue maybe is somewhat better, but not hugely, whereas the 70-200 versions are virtually undistinguishable between Sigma and Nikon, apart from the price.
