Brightcolours, thanks for coming to my defence, but:

-I am not French, althought I live in France

- I speak French about as well as English (I have lived and worked in English for 30 years)

I do not understand what either of you speak about <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Kindly Vieux Loup

I was referring to the word 'piqué'. The thing about parallel cords was wrong the Wikipedia article about the words. I gather it's something about detail/microcontrast/overall feel, but can you define piqué a little more precisely?

Thanks,

-Lars
