The "weird" thing: They show it on a Sigma camera, so a camera with an FF sensor. L-mount does not make much sense for this lens, only a Leica option?

A reason why they might have shown it mounted on a Sigma fp is that this body is very small, emphasizing the compactness of the system. Also, let's not forget this lens can be used on the Leica CL, which is APS-C.

That is what I said, "only a Leica option" ;-) But I can't really imagine someone getting a Leica CL for €2500 and not getting a TL 18-56mm f3.5-5.6 with it....
Makes more sense on Sony APS-C (and Nikon and Fuji and Canon APS-C).
