Dual OS is what sony do already with the A7ii/rii. Why not if it the hardware is there

Just bought GX7 for good $$$, I am sure the new model will be better but also more expensive.Probably more than
E M5 mkII.

Looks very promising.

I really hope their IBIS implementation will feature similar efficiency to Oly's counterpart.

In terms of shape, I think a rangefinger-style body (i.e. rectangular) makes much more sense than a DSLR-style one. Mostly, because of the pentaprism hump which is totally artificial and a waste of space since there is no mirror!

I'm very curious about the sensor and the AF which seems very sensitive given it's rated at -4EV.

APS-C ~1.5x (or 1.6x for Canon)

Ratio MFT/APS-C is 2/1.5 = 1.3333

Has to be squared for the surface: 1.3333^2 * 20 MP = 35.55 MP APS-C

Nikon D7200 sensor size: 23.5mm wide. Olympus OM-D E-M10 sensor size: 17.3mm wide.

23.5 / 17.3 = 1.3584

It would be right if they had the same aspect ratio, but they don't (3:2 vs 4:3). It would be more appropriate to take the diagonal then:

EM10: sqrt(17.3^2 + 13^2) = approx. 21.64
D7200: sqrt(23.5^2 + 15.6^2) = approx. 28.21

ratio: 28.20656 / 21.640009 = 1.3034449

I agree that one should distract MP's to get a 3 x 2 MP count .

So 37mp would be a 3:4 sensor.

A 3:2 sensor would then be about 33mp.
