How is the feeling? I wanted to give a NEX 3N with this lens to my brother for baby photos etc. but I'm not sure that the AF is not to sluggish.

So, what's the answer? Was it possible to derive a value? I guess with hard vignetting, it's really "infinity" in the very corner.

You are referring to the contrast ratio.

 

I tweaked things a little to get a correct reading - 5EV.

Kinda makes you wonder how a rumored full frame nex will look like next year judging how many issues they seem to be having with regards to the sensor area (nex7 issue, vignetting).

 

I'm thinking they might go the "prime lenses only" route? Which wouldn't be a bad thing.
