This remark about the need of getting a good sample could be used in just about every lens review. I think PZ used it when they actually measured faulty samples of a specific lens series, which was not the case in this review. Assuming that Panasonic has fixed the issue in the production process only older lenses are (and remain) affected. For the sake of completeness PZ could mention and even discuss the affair in the introduction of the review but I understand and appreciate the reluctance to discuss issues, which were not detectable for the reviewed sample. The essence of a PZ lens review consists of the measured facts obtained with the tested sample. What others have experienced with other samples on other cam bodies may or may not be a different story...
