just moved from NC, USA, to Heidelberg, Germany, and wanted to see from our fellow German shooters where can I buy/sale some stuff in Germany??

Where is best place to develop fotos in Germany?? I am mainly shooting Nikon D700 & D300.

Any good online store or old fashioned pro foto shop in Heidelberg and surrounding area??

For prints up to poster size, mostly smaller prints like A4ish....

Where to meet/greet some of fellow fotografers in Heidelberg area??

Welcome to the forum. I'm a fellow American living near kaiserslautern. About an hour west of you. Here are a couple of online stores. Are you connected in any way to the military in Heidelberg? Or work for the dod? If you do. Then your in like flint. as bh photo ships to APO addresses.

Heidelberg and the whole area are great, I have been studying there for a couple of years and also attended the American-German friendship festival in Patrick Henry Village twice.



Unfortunately, I cannot recommend any local shops for photo development and other stuff because this is meanwhile more than 10 years ago.



However, a good starting point for online shopping is "www.geizhals.at/de" (at least if you can read and understand German quite well).

PS: In Mannheim (30 minutes by tram from Heidelberg) there is a much larger variety of shops.
