Is the K-3 a Pentax FF?
#1

I forgot to look at the date. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />

There will be no FF Pentax DSLR -it just doesn't make any sense.

Well, with the Q and the K-01 Pentax have proved that common sense is not very common within its management. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Actually I think it's viable to offer ...

a ) a nano-mirrorless (Q)

b ) a flexible mirrorless (GXR)

c ) APS-C DSLRs with a mirrorless and classic approach

The actual implementation could be debatable, of course.

I got the impression that at least the local Pentax fellows liked the K-01. Persoanlly I consider the SLT concept to be more convincing but that's me.

I'm curious when the GXR will evolve to its next evolutionary step. It is about time.

Nothing wrong with the K-01. I'm looking forward to getting one.

There is one reason I want a full frame, and it's so my tilt/shift lens will get a wider field of view <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> I don't see a reason for a full frame other than that.

Just make sure that you can stand the AF performance of the K-01.

I will be buying it for video and focus peaking for manual focus, so that's not a problem <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Steve Huff reviewed it. He likes the image quality but thinks the monitor is unusable in sunshine. The latter is a deal killer for him. J
