The D800 weights 900g. Just from this perspective it is pretty obvious that such a camera is a dinosaur in this game.
The FF market share has always been less than 10% in the system camera space - just to mention a fact.
FF is the new medium format and just like medium format in the film days it is a niche market and it will continue to stay there.
