AF sensor at the bottom..... the AF sensor in my DSLR takes so little space, the lenses are as deep or deeper than the body when mounted. Making that size go away.... makes no sense.
The "bulge on top"... That bulge is rather small, and houses a flash. The mirror drive mechanism does not make the body much bigger.
The biggest parts that make it "big" are the grip and the mirror box itself. I do not want to get rid of the grip (at all), and the mirror box depth is there to stay with K-mount.
Does not make much sense as concept.
