next PZ lens test report: Olympus M.Zuiko 14-150mm f/4-5.6 ED

You lost me I am afraid. I know two Tri-Elmas for the Leica M, but there is no contrast AF involved in a Leica M. All external triangulation, which the Pens and G-Lumix cams lack the hardware for.

CDAF is also implemented in the Oly 14-54 so this is no problem on paper.

The Leicas were only mentioned as examples for high performances rangefinder zoom lenses.

Any plans about the well established 40-150 m.Zuiko? It is less ambitious than the 14-150 but a lot cheaper. It would be interesting to see whethe or not it outperforms the Suppenzoom at the long end. Thanks J.

Sure.

However, the Pana 14-140 is next.

The prime lenses have top priority though so if they emerge earlier ...

We'll review all newcomers ASAP.

Any chance you were able to obtain the 12mm f/2 yet?

Sebbi is currently on vacation. He's doing the Oly tests.

We should be able to publish a test within 2 weeks.
