I had a think about this one and I'm struggling to think of more than one, the crop sensor only Tamron. Even after a web search could only find an Olympus to add to the list. So neither of those are direct replacements for the full frame Zeiss. Of course if you drop down to f/2.8, then macro lenses are plentiful.



I do agree on the cost side though, as I was mad enough to get this. With hindsight, it would have been more economic just to get a regular 50mm f/1.4 and separately a f/2.8 50/60mm macro. Having said that, the MF experience on it is so nice, it makes me want to MF more!
