I'd take the Nikon G without any hesitation.

Hi Markus,

There is a typing error in the link to the FX sample photos, there is a double-h at the beginning of the adress line: "hhttp://www.opticallimits.com/nikon_ff/605-sigma8514ff"

One question, because it looks like I just have to give this Sigma lens a chance considering the price difference to the Nikon, despite my bad focus experiences: The coma which is visible in the sample shot of the two black squares, does it rapidly decrease towards the image center or is it visible even just next to the image center?

Thanks, Chris, fixed the link.

I will check coma close to the center later this evening.

Hey Markus, did you have the time to look at the coma?

Argh ... sorry, forgot it. I hope to remember it this evening <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

Hi Markus,

Did you have a chance to glance at the shots of the Sigma for estimating the coma?

Best wishes,

Christian
