Looks really impressive. If I'd buy a small camera today that would be my pick. That is, assuming I could find one for sale....

Yep. The only things they've to fix is their marketing (it's basically non-existing it seems) as well as product design (ugly as hell).

Why would they need better marketing, if they can't satiesfy the demand which they face at present?
Considering the design, I think many of the recent Lumix system cameras (G1, G2, GH1, GH2 and also the proper 43rd L10) borough from the Leica R4 - R7 line. Sure if you don't like it you don't like it. There is nothing to argue.

Are you sure about that?
The G1 toi GH2 and all models inbetween look like rather unremarkable SLRs in styling...
The GF series looks a bit like the Leica R4 to R7, yes.
