I dont think I will use a different focus screen on the 7D - never have so far however I was toying with the idea if I went FF...
As for the AF, With the 50D I could only really trust the centre point. With the 1D I could trust all of them especially for BIF.
The extra detail is definitely an advantage over the 1DII, however I am hoping I can use the 7D at 1600 as the 50D had too much noise for my liking at 1600.
