What is wrong with using a 6D mk II with those lenses? The Voigtlander 20mm f3.5 SL II N is very nice to use on my old 6D. On the 6D, you can even use focus trap with those lenses (nice trick especially with macro/close up under certain circumstances).

Has he given any reasons for why those are his favourite lenses?

He had 6Dmkii four months ago he sold to ghas at the photography club...

I am trying to keep him from buying new gear, he bought 8 bodies plus at least 15 lenses in the last three years...
