100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 VR: https://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/lens/z-.../index.htm
24-120mm f/4: https://imaging.nikon.com/lineup/lens/z-.../index.htm
Interestingly they skipped VR in the 24-120mm. But it's good that they finally got a decent 24-1xx f/4. Was about time.

Given the price for the 24-120, I hope they addressed distortion optically and not by software.
The 100-400 looks promising, too, and natively accepts both TCs (though I have doubts if using the 2x TC makes sense on such a lens). It better be outstanding at a 3k price tag...
The 24-120 f4 looks awesome!
This lens could lure me into the Z system :-)

An interesting and unexpected (at least for me) aspect of the Z9 is the lack of mechanical shutter.
Nikon must be pretty confident that the rolling shutter will be unnoticeable in the vast majority of scenarii.
Interestingly enough, since my Fuji X-S10 is prone to shutter shock (major annoyance btw), I pretty much only use it in electronic shutter mode and honestly I haven't noticed any rolling shutter issues. Granted, I don't particularly look for them, but I just haven't noticed any issues, even in "action" shots which is not what I expected.
It appears that the days of mechanical shutters are probably numbered which is a good thing as it means less mechanical parts, more reliability and smaller potential bodies.
