He has been raving about Sigma 18-50f2.8 for a while, I guess he ordered it already Big Grin
Whatever he chooses, I am sure he will enjoy.
My all time preferred lens is Canon 17-55f2.8 IS, those lenses are extremely practical and handy, it's a perfect do it all lens

LOL. I got the Sigma a few weeks ago and I'm fine with it. The announce of the Tamron surprised me and I was going to scream, but looking at the few info available it is heavier and larger.
