... I might actually like a Sony lens.

(you didn't hear it from me, of course)

  FE 16-35mm f4?

Pssst ... - Klaus - 02-21-2015

Yeah, not so bad (except at 35mm f/4)

That is new (UWA on "Nex" performing well) and nice Smile

Good news Smile  Maybe you got lucky to get a well centered lens.

I like a few Sony lenses but I'm more a prime lens user.

Amen bratha! Smile

Reviews elsewhere have been very positive as well. If there can be a Sony (Zeiss) lens you like, that'd be it.

Oh Good!

I"m trying to figure out if I want this one.

The obvious alternative is the newly designed version III of the 15mm super wide heliar on an adapter - it's supposed to be good on A7 series cameras now.

Any chance of a review? If it was merely as good as the Zony zoom I'd be tempted even though it's slow and only 15mm, since it's so nice and small  (and not to mention a bit cheaper!)

Nothing wrong with the Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS as far as I can tell Rolleyes

Well before you all get overly excited remember Klaus said "might" !

The review should be up tomorrow.

From there on I am planning to get up to speed again - it has been to silent lately.
