There are lot of samples around already. A collection of them can be found on sigmarumors: http://sigma-rumors.com/2014/10/sigma-150-600mm-f5-6-3-dg-os-hsm-sports-reviews-sample-images/

I hope to get one of the first regular Nikon versions. It's prejudice, I know, but somehow I do trust Sigma to make a better lens than Nikons 80-400. And even if it's "only" equal, then it' still less expensive and does have some nice details like the zoom lock switch for each FL.

Dare I say that Lenstip have tested it already?........  it's the business!

There's no doubt in my mind at all now........ If we are looking for optical blessings from heaven at an earthly price..........

Sigma is where it's at....

Yes and ta to the three aboves....natz the new member of the cheep light brigade here hopes the lighter version will also be a nice plastic fantastic....if not at least this one could be quite fine

....edit....that was one of my local wattle birds talking, I think she meant to say 'cheap'....and of course the price of the sport version most reasonable too for such a lens....ta

It looks like a winner.

Tamron 150-600 still doesn't seem to be generally available for Nikon yet in the US, so I'll keep an eye on the Sigma. Had planned to get the Tamron to replace my 1st gen Nikon 80-400.

If only Sigma decided to create native E-mount versions of their long lenses...

Such big lenses is why SLRs developed into bigger cameras with grips.... Putting a small, not ergonomic "mirrorless" behind it is a bit contrived and backward.

.....not that i might do such a thing, but a small v light quality mirror dslr hanging off the back of it might look like fun....if the somewhat lighter sig(150-600) to come ain't the goods....the small light(qualitySmile dslr = no extra weight = so easy to hand hold @900mm Wink
