Not that impressed - Klaus - 09-21-2014 I just checked my vacation images taken with the A6000 and the Zeiss 16-70. I have to admit ... I am not thrilled by the quality. The borders are rather soft. Back to MFT for me I reckon. Not that impressed - goran h - 09-21-2014 Just back to MFT? What about Fuji? Not that impressed - Klaus - 09-21-2014 MFT for zoom lenses. Fuji for primes. ;-) Not that impressed - youpii - 09-21-2014 Stop using zooms Not that impressed - goran h - 09-21-2014 Stop using zooms - You are right, but there are some exceptions. Oly 12-40 is one. Not that impressed - Kodachrome 25 - 09-21-2014 Quote:MFT for zoom lenses. Fuji for primes. ;-)What zoom lenses are in your backpack for a one-week trek? Do you still have the Leica D Vario-Elmar 14-150mm f/3.5-5.6 ASPH OIS? Not that impressed - Klaus - 09-21-2014 Quote:What zoom lenses are in your backpack for a one-week trek? Well, I just ordered the Oly 12-40 and 40-150 ;-) Not that impressed - Kodachrome 25 - 09-21-2014 Quote:Well, I just ordered the Oly 12-40 and 40-150 ;-) I guess it's the small an lightweight Olympus M.Zuiko 40-150mm f/4-5.6 ED R MSC and not the new f/2.8 !-) No need for the Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm f/4-5.6 ED? Not that impressed - stoppingdown - 09-21-2014 I hope that before leaving it go you found the time for a review, including numbers :-) I've been using it since a long time and - while I perfectly understand your point of view - for me is ok. Too expensive for quality, but it has been an improvement relative to what I was using before, both in terms of size/weight and IQ. Still I'm curious to see the MTF numbers. And I still have the Panasonic 7-14/4. Admittedly I ordered the 40-150/2.8 primarily for testing but you never know ;-) Quote:I hope that before leaving it go you found the time for a review, including numbers :-) I've been using it since a long time and - while I perfectly understand your point of view - for me is ok. During the next 3 months there'll be at least 6 tests on my list. |
