Decentered lens or human error - Guest - 08-28-2014 Ok - I've never actually done this before; I was approx 6 feet from a 27 inch monitor when I took this image. This is the center. It actually looks ok to me but I'm not sure.[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] Decentered lens or human error - frank - 08-29-2014 I remember Klaus said in his post that when doing this type of tests the lens should be slightly defocused. Am I wrong? Decentered lens or human error - Klaus - 08-29-2014 You tend to see it better when slightly defocused. However, this looks alright to me. Not 100% perfect but pretty good. As mentioned the test doesn't cover the whole scope though - there may still be edge issues. |
