I hope it's ok to post a link to a third party review. To say I am impressed by the results of SLRGear's review of the Fuji 56mm is an understatement. The lens is very sharp edge to edge, even at f1.2! This lens is going to be my next photography-related purchase.

Yeah, Fuji shows that it can be done at F1.2! that leaves the rest of the manufacturers to follow.

Seems they still have QA issues; as tester found his his lens was an optical dud after having to exchange it for mechanical reasons.
