I find this figure interesting  New E-mount FF lenses - joachim - 10-16-2013 You just wonder how many lens lines they want/can support. I am wondering whether that will cost them - most serious amateur users want to see commitment to future support. But then I also see something like this http://www.sony.net/Products/di/common/images/products/o4j5/actualphotos/set1/photo_sample1.jpg Sample photo from the Zeiss 24-70mm. Obviously decentered (upper left vs bottom right). Honestly they should at least pay attention to their online sample images. I don't get it. New E-mount FF lenses - Klaus - 10-16-2013 I'm also slightly wondering about the size/weight of the new 70-200/4. New E-mount FF lenses - Brightcolours - 10-16-2013 The weight and size should be similar to the Nikkor I guess? New E-mount FF lenses - Klaus - 10-16-2013 If so there would be an obvious mismatch between the camera and the lens - and yes, this thing looks big. Honestly I'm not sure whether a general purpose full format mirrorless camera makes sense. Can you imagine a 500mm lens & this camera ? For street photography, landscape and portraits - yes, just like Leica M. But for sports and wildlife (assuming that the AF was good enough) ? New E-mount FF lenses - Guest - 10-16-2013 This image with the 55f1.8 seems to have no LoCA; do you think it was removed in PP or the lens is APO ? http://www.sony.jp/ichigan/pre_include/images/ILCE-7R/photo-sample_a7R_03.jpg New E-mount FF lenses - Klaus - 10-16-2013 70-200/4G: Filter diameter: 72mm dimensions 80 × 175mm weight: 840g min focus: 1-1.5m 9 aperture blades (circular) 1700$ |
