Frankly I don't think that he found the right focus settings with the Samyang at times. It is a rather massive problem that the focus calibration is way off with the Samyangs so you have to know your stuff. Just setting it to 3m and expect that everything is sharp will not always work depending on the specific lens.
I've seen this both on the 14mm and 24mm.

And on top of that, what is the price difference for these lenses? In Norway the Samyang is 1/5th of the price of the Nikon, and the 1/7th of the price of the Carl Zeiss. I'd say both of those lenses are a lot more expensive than the Samyang.

Yes, I think the main competiters here are the Zeiss 15mm f2.8 and the Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8.

I´m just surprised how good the cheap Samyang is (and I´m not referring to the linked test only). From what I´ve seen on some other sites, esp. Samyang 14mm/2.8 and 35mm/1.4 are fantastic value making one rise his eyebrows over the prices of some of the Nikon glass (e.g. 35/1.4).

I totally agree.
Optically, Samyang lenses are up there with the best ones from Canon/Nikon.
I wonder if they will start introducing AF lenses any time soon? If it is the case and their AF is accurate, I'll surely buy their 14, 35 and 85 lenses in a blink of an eye!
