Next PZ lens test report: Tokina AF 35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX - mst - 10-30-2011 A good and especially very sharp lens. Unfortunately requires a higher grade DX body to provide AF. Personally, I'd prefer the new Nikon AF-S DX 40/2.8 anyway. http://www.opticallimits.com/nikon--nikkor-aps-c-lens-tests/640-tokina3528prodx -- Markus Next PZ lens test report: Tokina AF 35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX - mousefire - 10-31-2011 Thanks for the review. The lens performs well. For me, the only problem is it's noisy while auto focus. Next PZ lens test report: Tokina AF 35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX - Yakim - 10-31-2011 It looks slightly better than the 40/2.8 but if I was in Nikon I'd still prefer the 40/2.8 just because of the added functionality the AF-S provides. Next PZ lens test report: Tokina AF 35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX - mst - 11-01-2011 I am very sorry to report that I haven't measured it ... and the lens is unfortunately already gone. However, it's probably safe to assume that the working distance isn't dramatically different compared to the AF-S 40. -- Markus Next PZ lens test report: Tokina AF 35mm f/2.8 AT-X Pro DX - Yakim - 11-01-2011 [quote name='mst' timestamp='1320138070' post='12595'] I am very sorry to report that I haven't measured it ... and the lens is unfortunately already gone.
