Final D200 based lens test report - mst - 03-24-2011 I know you've all been waiting for this one <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ![]() http://www.opticallimits.com/nikon--nikkor-aps-c-lens-tests/397-nikkor18553556vr You may wonder why this is published. The end of a long era in Nikon lens/body testing. I acquired this lens' non-VR brother when I got my D40, and have to say that as a travel lens it's hard to beat. I've worked and travelled in countries where security is not up to west European standards, and for such a small outlay in money one can feel happier with such a cheap-to-replace lens sitting in the car, hotel bedroom, etc. With care, results can be very, very good from a very lightweight setup. Thanks again, boys. |
