Interesting; not really a lens I would personally go for but the optics look very nice (esp the low loca wide open).

except for "the local length" ... which is more likely a typo than

a new thing measured and analysed in PZs reviews. ;-)

David Kirkpatrick from photoclubalpha has been giving praises to this lens for a while. Now I can see why. Do you think screw-driven versions would be faster?

I doubt so. The inner lens tube is very heavy.
