black-forever black-why not white? - Adalbert - 10-02-2010 Hi Everybody Maybe it´s a stupid question but... why it´s so obvious for most "pro" DSLR´s to be painted black? Not everybody is a papparazzi who must take care NOT to be seen (white is shiny!)-in other situations the sensor warming by solar radiation can still be an issue ...what about a white painted camera? Any suggestions? Adalbert black-forever black-why not white? - netrex - 10-02-2010 Having a white K-x, I wish the K-5, which I will buy, came in white as well. Doesn't have to be shiny like the K-x, matte works fine too. Though as matte it might get dirty faster. black-forever black-why not white? - Guest - 10-02-2010 [quote name='Alexander ' timestamp='1286015486' post='3447'] Having a white K-x, I wish the K-5, which I will buy, came in white as well. I guess for me, living in Berlin, a kind of dirty grey colour would be the best idea. <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> black-forever black-why not white? - goran h - 10-02-2010 Yes, and here in Sweden we go for blue and green to match the lakes and forests. black-forever black-why not white? - wim - 10-02-2010 So, if I understand well enough, the ideal camera body really would have a chameleon skin, picking up the colours from the surroundings? I'd go with that <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />. Again matt to keep reflections down. Chrome doesn't scratch so easily as black paint. black-forever black-why not white? - netrex - 10-03-2010 Hehe <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> maybe, but my lenses are still black (except the kit 18-55mm). black-forever black-why not white? - Steinar1 - 10-03-2010 You are all missing the point. This century will be dominated by Asia and China, so black and white are both totally colours of the past. Yellow ought to be the colour of all cameras except those that are made in France, that should be red, white and blue <img src='http://forum.photozone.de/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Kindly Vieux Loup black-forever black-why not white? - Brightcolours - 10-03-2010 [quote name='wim' timestamp='1286059568' post='3458'] So, if I understand well enough, the ideal camera body really would have a chameleon skin, picking up the colours from the surroundings?
